The Homestead is a newest endeavor here at Second Wind. It has two suites. As I child it was here at The Homestead where I (Kelly) weekly visited my grandparents. It was homesteaded at the turn of the century by my (Kelly) great-grandparents. The upper suite is called Little Scandinavia. The lower suite is Times Past. You will love your stay at The Homestead! Quiet, cozy and inviting are just a few ways to discribe Little Scandinavia and Times Past.

The Homestead suites are available for week to month rentals and anything in-between. They are both fully furnished and include a full kitchen, truly a a home away from home. Or perhaps you want to make it your home for a short time. We operate on a mininimum weekly lease and a maximum monthly lease which can be renewed upon inspection of property and adherance to lease guidelines.
