Deposit
To secure your reservation, a 50% deposit is charged to your credit card (or a minimum of one night’s lodging when we make an exception of a one night stay during our quiet season).
Room Rates and Stay Minimums
Our rates are based on a double occupancy. An additional $20 fee per day, per person will be charged beyond two people. Rates do not include tax. Second Wind has a two-night minimum stay on weekends and all nights from June – October, and a three night minimum on event weekends, Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.
Flexible Cancellation
With a 10 day notice your deposit is refundable – less a $50 administration fee – or you may transfer the entire deposit to a voucher toward a future stay. Vouchers are valid for two years. Event and Holiday weekends require full payment, 21 days in advance.
Children
Well-behaved children, age 10 and over are welcome. Children are also welcome when the entire inn is rented to your group or family. In our quiet season from November – May , we consider children as guests (with parents of course), please call us directly to inquire.
Check-In/Check-Out
Touch-free Check-in anytime after 3PM. Check-out 11AM. Please call for arrangements of arrivals after 9PM.
Second Wind offers Pet Free/Fragrance Free/100% Smoke/Flame-Free Environment
Both indoors and out: this includes CANDLES or E-CIGARETTES
Wi-Fi
A limited wireless internet connection is available, but not guaranteed. It usually works well for email and browsing, but can get overloaded at times in streaming movies.

Our goal is to provide a wonderful experience in the desirable location of Ashland, WI. Navigation Shortcuts
Our inn’s website can be navigated by using the tab key to traverse the elements of each page and by using the enter key to activate a highlighted link.
Structured, Semantic Markup HTML
heading tags are used to convey the document structure. Navigation menus are tagged as HTML maps so that the menu title can be read out, and the menu items are presented as a group.
Images Visibility
All content images include descriptive ALT attributes and all purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.
